Station Girl

I was waiting at the station
It was a quarter to 10
Standing waiting for my friend
Then you walked by again
Your wore a white coat
With bags on your shoulder
I couldn’t stop staring
I was hit by a boulder

You walked in to the coffee shop
My eyes still fixed on you
I didn’t know what you ordered
But I wish it was for two
You sat perfectly in the window
Staring into the unknown
I wanted to come over and join you
My confidence needed growing

You came out and looked at me
Not confident so I looked away
You began to walk towards me
Was this going to be my perfect day?
I could smell your perfume getting close
My thoughts were filled with you
You just walked on by like I was a ghost

My lonely heart sank
My dream had gone
I over play my thoughts
Thinking you were the one
My head was down
You walked back out past
I looked up and you looked back

Giving me a smile I knew would last
