It started out a challenge
But now it means much more
Something I have to complete
Before I open Heaven’s door
I know I’m not alone
And I want to win this fight
Just one more step to make
Before I continue my eternal flight
The strength I need to find
Searching deep in my soul
Fighting back the unbearable pain
To achieve my simple goal
As my body becomes weaker
Each step becomes harder to do
