The minute I think I’ve found you an alarm vibrates inside
Telling me to move on and let this lovely lady step a side
Why is it so difficult? Why do I always compare?
No one realises every night I unconsciously play truth or
dare
Fighting my emotions as I know the answer hidden in my soul
Always trying to be in control knowing I’ll never succeed my
goal
Commitment escapes me as I continue to search high and low
My heart defenceless as it’s subjected to another fatal blow
I know I’ve met you as when we meet it feels perfectly right
But how to have the courage and strength to kiss you a goodnight
Timing is everything, as the clock ticks loudly once more
The searching maybe over and I can close the commitment door
