Looking for the brightest star
I want to wish a happy Christmas
To friends both near and far
Although we may not be together
Throughout the whole dam year
You are always in my thoughts
For that you have no fear
On this coming Christmas day
I’ll raise a glass or two
For friendship over the year
Friendship between me and you
And when I’m left alone
Sitting at home as one
I’ll think of all those special fiends
Who sadly have passed on
But for now let’s spread some Christmas spirit
As our friendship will never part
My Christmas wish is a simple one
