It’s becoming more of the norm
They like the excitement and danger
But for the lads it’s any port in a storm
So why does this happen
Why can’t nice guys win?
Is it the movies that promote it?
Or do some girls like to sin
A nice guy can make a girl laugh
But doesn’t have the right look
They are not so called physically matched
Like in the latest film or book
Nice guys just get used
When the girl is usually bored
They open doors and treat them right
And show them they are adored
Nice guys come in all shapes and sizes
And often do kind things
Some of them write or play instruments
Including piano, percussion and strings
Some people say you need to change
But I certainly don’t agree
It’s about meeting the right lady
And unlocking your heart with her key
Don’t rely on looks alone
And give a nice guy a chance
They’ll treat you with love and respect
And won’t lead you a merry dance
